How far in advance should we book our musicians?

Book as early as you can for the best availability. Once you have your event date and venue, contact us to discuss your preferred ensemble and performance schedule.

Can you perform for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception?

Yes. We provide music for the prelude, wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, first dance and other moments throughout your celebration.

Tell us which parts of the day you would like covered. If the musicians will need to move between spaces, share those details so we can plan the setup and timing with you.

Music & Ensembles

Should we choose a string quartet, trio or duo?

A string quartet offers four musical parts and a fuller ensemble sound. A trio brings three musicians together for a versatile balance, while a duo creates a more intimate atmosphere with a smaller setup.

The best fit depends on the sound you love, your song choices, available space and budget. Watch our musicians perform to compare the ensembles, then tell us which performances you enjoy.

Which instruments and ensembles can we book?

Our ensembles include:

  • Orchestra

  • String quartet, trio and duo

  • Harp quartet, trio and duo

  • Guitar trio

  • Keyboard trio and duo

Signature combinations include harp, violin, cello and bass; harp, violin and cello; and guitar, violin and cello. We also offer harp with cello or violin, and violin with cello. More combinations may be available—tell us the sound you have in mind.

If your venue provides a piano, let us know so we can discuss incorporating it into your performance.

Can we request a special song that is not in your repertoire?

Yes. One to two special song requests are included, subject to approval by our in-house arranging team. Our arrangers review whether the song can be adapted for your selected instruments.

Share your requests during planning so we can confirm what is possible. Additional requests may incur an extra fee.

How should we choose music for our wedding ceremony?

Start with the moments you want music for: the prelude as guests arrive, wedding-party and bridal entrances, any musical moments during the ceremony, and the recessional.

Choose songs that feel personal to you, then share your ceremony timeline and ensemble preference with us. Our wedding music performance videos are a useful place to explore classical pieces and modern favorites.

Do you provide an officiant microphone?

Yes. We offer officiant sound services, including wireless microphones and a PA system, as an additional package. Please let us know in advance if you would like this service included in your quote.

Planning & Setup

Do musicians need shade for outdoor performances?

Yes. Shade protects our musicians and their instruments during outdoor performances.

  • Duos: we recommend one to two 8–9 ft umbrellas.

  • Trios and quartets: please provide two to three 8–9 ft umbrellas.

How much space do the musicians need?

Please provide a flat performance area with enough room for the ensemble:

  • Duo: at least 7 × 7 ft.

  • String trio or quartet: at least 10 × 10 ft.

  • Larger ensembles: contact us for setup requirements.

If rain is possible, an alternative indoor location must be provided.

Do we need to provide chairs and music stands?

Please provide one armless chair for each musician. A string quartet, for example, needs four armless chairs. We bring our own music stands.

What parking and loading access do musicians need?

Please provide nearby parking and easy access to the performance area, especially for harpists and musicians carrying larger instruments.

Share parking fees, unloading zones and venue access instructions in advance so we can plan a smooth arrival and setup.

On the Day

How early do musicians arrive before the performance?

Our musicians typically arrive 40–60 minutes before the scheduled performance time for setup and sound checks.

How long does packing up take after the performance?

Our team usually needs 30–60 minutes to pack instruments and equipment and load out after the performance. Please account for this time when coordinating venue access.
